MEETING PEOPLE VIRTUALLY

Remember GOLDEN RULE is always the way Mary Kay women conduct themselves.

General Rules when posting: When getting a new client, always make sure she doesn't have a consultant prior to selling to her. If she is part of a Facebook party or zoom party, she can buy to support the hostess but refer her back after this purchase to their consultant, unless they are not happy with the service that the other consultant is giving them.

  • No prices on Public FB Page.
  • No mentioning Mary Kay when posting about samples in a Public Page.
  • Specials can only be in private Facebook groups - NO public Facebook groups.
  • No posting on Public FB page regarding the Mary Kay opportunity. Only post that type of info in your Personal Customer Private Facebook groups.

Top ways to meet new people for your virtual Facebook business:

  1. MK Virtual Parties - as your Hostesses friends comment during her party, send them a friend request and invite them to join your personal Customer FB Group. A hostess who adds 50 virtual guests to her party will give you an opportunity to work with 50 New potential Customers!

  2. Post on your personal Facebook wall. "Hey sending some samples out, would you like some??" When they say "Yes", private message them to find out their address and book them for a virtual Beauty Sessions appointment. (otherwise known to us as a virtual facial) Be sure to schedule their appointment BEFORE you mail out samples.

  3. Go thru your customer list - make sure they are all in your customer group (private group). Invite them to book a virtual Beauty Tips Session for an update. Offer a freebie if they invite a friend to join them.

  4. Virtual Scavenger Hunt: Look thru your contacts in your phone, your FB Friends, your man's FB friends and see who fits the various categories. As you schedule virtual facials with those on your Scavenger Hunt list, share the list with them and ask who else do they know on the list that could join them for their virtual Beauty Tips Session.   5. Facial the alphabet. A-Z and X is free! Same thing as above but you are focused on facialling all the letters of the alphabet. Their 1st name or last name can begin with the letter. Example: ASK: Would you be my D?

  6. MK Blessing the USA. Tell your Fam/friends/ Clients that you have a mission to facial someone in every state. Who do they know out of town that you can send a free sample pack complete with a Beauty Tips Session?

  7. Facial Boxes or Facial Bags! This is a great way to build customers in your local area. This method can work for BOTH in person appointments and virtual. Click HERE for more info.

  8. Pass out books where ever you go....Add a label that says "text ________" and message the word "PINK" to receive a Free Pampering Sample Packet and virtual Beauty Session. Use every book you have whether it's new or old. If there is a slight price difference in an old book be sure to honor it.

  9. Referrals: Ask Client to introduce you to 3 people and offer some sort of gift/gift card.

  10. Go LIVE in your customer group more frequently with short videos. Follow up with those who engage, like or give you an emoji.

  11. Be your own Hostess - invite your friends to it.

  12. Warm chat on Face book request to be friends. It is IMPORTANT to build relationships. First - You can say "We have friends in common - how are we not friends on Facebook yet" Get to know her. After a few weeks a few messages or a week of building rapport with her "I'm going to be sending out free beauty packets. Would you like one? I'm wanting to stay in touch with people and bless them!

  13. Post on Facebook personal page: If you wash your face and don't use MK...drop an emoji or comment. (this will allow interaction and you are not publicly selling- again honoring the GOLDEN RULE.

  14. Survey 100 women FAST! Ask family and friends to help you with this. Create a short 3-5 question google doc survey about make up or skin care (google or youtube how to create google doc survey) One of the questions would be "who gave you this survey to complete so we can thank them with free products"? Be sure to also include a place in your survey to gather their email and phone numbers. Ask family/ friends / clients to text it out to their peeps.   15. Message people that are FB friends directly to ask them if they would like a pampering packet of free samples and a virtual Beauty tips session.

  16. When following up from a virtual facial, party or guest event, offer a 1/2 OFF item for 5 referrals and 10 referrals = FREE Product! Assure them you will just shoot them a message and offer them a free samples and a beauty tips session.

  17. For Customers you met with but never did color follow up "Hey would love to get back together with you for a Virtual Color Session, we can do it virtually!"

  18. Do a PRODUCT preview in your Customer Group. Post teasers ahead of time to amp up the anticipation. New Product + New Engagement opportunities.

  19. Offer a free MK Product when your Private Customer Group hits a new level of members. Encourage them to reach out to their friends and family to join. Be sure you welcome each with a public and private message. Encourage them to interact in the group. After a few weeks offer them a pampering packet and virtual Beauty tips session.

  20. Ask a previous Hostess to reach out to friends and let them know that her Beauty Consultant is sending out FREE Pampering Packets with samples, would they want one?

  21. After each sale ask your customer if she would be interested in being a beauty brand influencer for you. If she says yes...all she has to do is post a picture of her wearing the mk product. She also shares im a post that her Beauty Consulant is giving away FREE Pampering Packets with Sample and a Virtual Beauty Tips session. Ask her to tag you in the post. As her friends are commenting send them a friend request. Also send message referring to their friends post and ask if they would like a Free Pampering Packet.
